The Alliance for Animal Law of Asia (AALA) [hereinafter Alliance] is an international networking campaign to cooperate with animal organizations for establishing networks for the law and policy information, educational sources, and activities of Animal Law of Asia initiated and organized by the Institute of Animal Law of Asia (IALA) [hereinafter Institute]. The Alliance aims to improve the awareness of legal protection for animals in Asia and the world through legal education, collaboration, online events and webinars, and inviting experts to share their experience with our audience.
Who We Are
Institute of Animal Law of Asia (IALA) is an educational research center and is dedicated to offering news, articles, and comprehensive and up-to-date information on the issues of animal law and policy all over Asia, based in the United States, aiming at raising awareness in more individuals and communities about the threats that animals face every day. The Institute’s mission is to show the importance of protecting innocent and voiceless creatures through raising awareness with the assistance of legal sources, articles, news, and cases. The Institute’s team is focused on providing in-depth material on the legal protection of animals in Asia, the most populous and largest continent of the world, along with credible primary and secondary sources.
The Mission of the Alliance
The Alliance for Animal Law of Asia (AALA) is seeking to unite, collaborate, improve awareness of animal law issues in Asia by elevating the status of animals, and recognize them as sentient beings with the proper consideration in the legal system of Asian countries. We are eager to take action to improve animals’ lives in any possible ways, to protect them from brutal practices, and to maintain biodiversity.
The Alliance is established to exchange educational sources and materials among the partners and to communicate with other organizations or animal rights activists.
Collaborating through the Alliance for Animal Law of Asia (AALA) will ensure the latest updates on legal animal protection in Asia, such as diverse projects on animal law in the countries of Asia and our newsletter. The Institute will list the information about your organization on the website page of our partners.
